Bachelor of arts in Development Studies (BDevS)
is a four year eight semester professional
course offered by National College since 1999.
The program is first of its kind in Nepal is,
conceived and offered by National College.
Development is a complex and time taking
process. It demands the efficient utilization of
available human, material and financial
resources. Realizing this fact, national college
has been offering interdisciplinary nature of
Development Studies program. The program mission
is thus based on the premise that “the ultimate
goal of sectoral efforts is development for
improving the standard of living and quality of
life of people.”

in Development Finance
(BDFin)
The financial sector
in Nepal in recent years has grown rapidly with
large number of banks, insurance companies and
financial cooperatives. Nepal has become a
member of World Trade Organization (WTO) and as
per its requirements; the doors for establishing
international financial institutions (banks,
insurance companies etc) in this country will be
opened in 2010 AD. This perspective of growth in
this sector is projected to require a large
number of skilled and professional manpower for
these institutions.
