The Development Society (DevS
Society) established in 2000
is a forum for professional
dialogues between and among
the faculties, scholars and
students contemporary
development issues. This
platform is designed to help
enrich both academic and
professional capacities of
the students.
The
Development Studies Society
has initiated a new project
called the Mahalaxmi School
Library Project. Shree
Mahalaxmi Lower Secondary
(proposed) School is
situated in ward no. 6 of
Chhetra Deurali V.D.C. of
Dhading District. The
Development Studies Society
is building a library for
the school. The library will
house books and will also
serve as a community
learning Center from where
the DevS Society will
initiate further community
development activities. DevS
Society, in a routine basis,
brings different
developmental issues and
discusses this with key
experts in the respective
areas. |
